Noise and vibration assessment of engines is completed in our large semi-anechoic chamber, where we can accommodate engines of all sizes.
Typical measurements include:
- 1m radiated noise measurement and sound power calculation
- noise source ranking using the windowing technique
- problem noise source identification using sound intensity
- vibration measurement including calculation of dynamic forces at the engine mounts and running modes analysis
Data can be processed to suit any requirement using our extensive suite of LMS software.
