performance - durability - type approval

  • Durability and Reliability - accelerated durability test scedules using special features on the proving ground or 4-poster test rig. Mileage accumulation on road using established routes (city, country, highway, hills).
  • Brakes - legislative testing to EC and Federal specifications. Performance and durability using track, road and rig test facilities.
  • Cooling - cooling performance sign-off and development using track-based procedures and a range of towing dynamometers. Environmental chassis dynamometer for work at elevated temperatures. Separate rigs for cooling pack validation at system level.
  • Steering, Ride and Handling - track based testing using ISO standard manoeuvres for objective characterisation, ride vibration measurement to ISO 2631
  • Noise, Vibration and Harshness - analysis and development of interior and exterior noise through testing on the proving ground and in the semi-anechoic chassis dynamometer.
  • Vehicle Launch - hosting of launch events at LTC's proving ground
