The environmental chassis dynamometer provides the facility to apply solar loading to a complete vehicle and to elevate the ambient temperature whilst the vehicle drive is absorbed through the dyno. This facility is extremely valuable for the development of engine cooling systems, air-conditioning systems and full interior temperature surveys.
